Inherent design scalability allows for deployments from 5kW - 300kW mobile applications and up to MW level on a single stack platform.
What is a Fuel Cell ?
Fuel cells are devices that electrochemically combine hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, water, and heat. Unlike batteries, fuel cells continuously generate electricity as long as a source of fuel is supplied. Fuel cells do not burn fuel, making the process quiet, pollution-free, and up to two to three times more efficient than combustion technologies.
In the face of fast-approaching global decarbonisation targets, in many cases there is no practical alternative technological solution. For example, commercial vehicles both on land and water that require extended use, range and/or heavy payloads are primed for disruptive decarbonisation solutions that cannot be met by battery technology alone. These include heavy-duty trucks, marine, off-road vehicles, and aviation. Moreover, fuel cells will also play an important role in backup power and long-duration energy storage.
